British soul singer Seal delivered a soaring set of reverential 70s covers from his new album, Soul 2.
It’s been said that there’s a magnetic quality about Seal. After seeing him live now I have to agree. He’s a consumate pro and definitely knows how to work a crowd.
No photo pit at the Beacon so photographers were restricted to shoot from only one side of the room. I chose stage left because I did some research beforehand and I noticed that Seal tends to favor holding his microphone with his right hand. Shooting from stage right might have resulted in more obscured looks due to the microphone position.
Did you know that Seal’s also a great photographer?! Check out this interview with Seal at the Leica Camera Blog.
