Opening for Minus the Bear, SoCal roots rock outfit Everest churned out an epic set of fuzz-caked riffs and gorgeous ballads from their new album, On Approach.

Everest were hand-picked by Neil Young for his Vapor Records, which tells you that these guys are certainly onto something good. I was so impressed by Everest’s set that I bought On Approach the very next day. I’d expect to hear lots more great things about them in the near future.
